Here i am, done my education and all i can get is position at family run business that pays minimum wage. My mother is in the same shitty predicament at a restaurant. We live in a shitty run down "hive" they call an apartment building paying $1150.00 a month to freeze my ass off as soon as winter rolls around.

most 21 year olds i know are living at home with their parents carefree with all expenses paid by their parents when i every once in i while have to cover my mothers expenses when its dead at her restaurant.

Why me? i keep asking myself this question. Why do i have to tell my mother that she has to find a new place to live because i want to move out? I figure if im paying my own bills i would rather live on my own or with a roommate my age. Why is it i feel guilty about this?

anybody else in shitty poor ass conditions? I have always lived in poverty but its getting worse. anybody who was/ is a similar situation how do you deal?
