What's so bad about stereotypes? If someone stereotypes a group you're in, why don't you just prove them wrong by ignoring whatever characteristic it was that they try correlate with you? If someone has no reason not to believe a stereotype that they hold, why should we give them shit for holding it? Why not allow them to think for themselves instead of hypocritically telling them to.
