Do a hard reset. Search yt If you don't know. Take the SIM card out as soon as you find it and keep it turned off. Btw, if find my iPhone is turned on you might as well use it as a paper weight cuz it's useless until firmware gets cracked. Best off handing it in though cuz you'll go through a lot of trouble and will probably not get it working.

Taking the SIM card out doesn't do shit anymore, even without a sim the carrier and apple servers can still track the phone, and even when you turn the phone off it still sends apple it's last known gps location.
