I'm depressed about trying to find a new job.

Hey /lounge/
I started a job as a freight forwarder on Monday and I quitted on Thursday. I didn't know what was I thinking when I signed the papers. The job was complete shit. Within two days of "training" (note the quotation marks) they wanted me to handle drivers, trucks and all other shit when every info about the job was still like a vortex in my head and I didn't knew anything. I felt like shit at the end of every day at the work and on the 4th day I said "fuck it" this is not worth my mental health. Told my boss and he let me go with no problem.
This was my first job in 3 years and now I'm depressed about trying to find a new one...
Help out /lounge/ what to do to get over this?? Have you done something like this?? Did you gave a fuck or what?
Note: I don't do drugs or drink, plus I already fapped 5-6 times and that didn't help either..

Fucking quitter. It's freight. It's not rocket science. I did it for a year and now I'm in gov't logistics as a GS-12 making $70k/yr and no college.
Why didn't you just try to work things out with them and get the help/understanding you needed? And how the hell can any job harm your "mental health" in just a few days?
Jesus... man the fuck up. In the adult world, you know longer get trophies for participation.

This is why I hate welfare and unemployment insurance. If this loser didn't have someone to leech off of he would have tried harder to learn the job.

Why don't you start your own business selling stuff people want to buy, huh? That's basically the point of every job, so why work for some people you don't know/trust/care about?

>>1Welcome to life you fucking pussy, go find another job and next time let them know what your learning disabilities. Because two days is enough training to get the idea, then you're supposed to go ask questions.

Stress is all phycolical what's the worst that could happen if you fucked up because you dont know what ur doing? You get fired.
So you just quit instead if you put more time into it then you could more comfortable doing it and then it would be fine but a few weeks of feeling a bit confused was to much for you I guess oh well there's millions of people lining up behind you I'm sure one of them can handle it.

>>1The Feeling you have right now is an important one. Something's happening but you don't know what it is.
The feeling you have is that you are a loser. And it is entirely appropriate, you are a loser. Quitting a job after three days, locking yourself inside, and compulsively masturbating is pathetic.

In my opinion, it happens. Not your fault. I was stocking at a grocery store and quit because I felt we were rushed to do so many cases. I got another job at a factory. Took hardly any training but it was hard because you had to move as fast as you could for 10 hours a day, shit got gruelling after 5 days straight. Time moved slower than fuck and you literally did the same thing over and over and over and over. That shit will drive a man crazy. So after about a month of that I went back to my old job.
My point is, some jobs are not meant for some people. You just have to find something you are good at, which will take some time to find out, in the mean time communicate with your managers and co-workers, tell them you need more serious training.

Why did you quit you pussy, just ask your boss for help, no one is going to give you serious shit far asking for help on your first day, and if they do, who cares, you're a fucking adult.

each work with it's logic and system can seem like a vortex but you should man up and get a job.
You are free to try anything, so do it, but don't expect to have the dream job by sitting on your ass.
I worked 1 year in a factory to give me the basics, spare money, car, computer and so on. And now i have a job i can do my whole life, and it is really nice. ( can play on my phone, read, watch vidya at work so yess, it's nice)
Don't depress and freak out, if you experienced the same issue 5-6 time in a row, either you have a problem either it's the places you want to work at.
Unless all this shit is bait.

>>13Thanks. I think the problem was they were expecting me to learn this shit from like 2 days of "training" which I think was ridiculous expectation. The job is also pretty stressful and that plus my depression didn't help a lot too. I should prob try to found something dull and repetitive but not stressful at least until my depression starts to fade away..
