America does not get annihilated in the next century

OK Amerifags,

Explain a situation where America does not get annihilated in the next century. I'll start.

Ebola spreads to China, effectively decimating the population, and as a side effect, putting the issue of over population off for another century or so.

So, instead of the current situation, which is

1 super power + smaller nations vs. 2 super powers + less of the smaller nations

It would become:

1 super power + smaller nations vs. 1 super power + less smaller nations

As another side effect, the 1.16 trillion we owe China would become slightly irrelevant, because if push came to shove we could probably win that war.

Discuss.

I tried to think of one, but the only thing I can think is similar.

USA releases one of its chimera viruses it's been sitting on since the cold war. Innoculates only its own desirable first, wipes out the rest of the worlds population.

...except that Russia and China both have them as well, and would do the same if they suspected that shit was going down, so still, no pass go.

Ten thousand vectors all leading to certain doom.

With any luck, I'll live long enough to see them pile up and work their magic firsthand. Couldn't happen to a more appropriate country.

things continue as are, China starts falling apart due to internal strife and several of its provinces rebelling, the Arab world stabilizes after Iran goes nuclear and checks Israel's power, and the Eurozone collapses because shared currency is fucking retarded.
