Here in Brazil we are having problem with our government. There are evidences of fraud in our last elections, the party that is in the power for the last 12 years have been trying to aprove laws to censor the media and the internet and the same kind of laws that left Venezuela how it is today, and they are related to an international communist organization named Foro de S�o Paulo. We protested against them yesterday, but the media lied telling everyone that we wanted the military dictatorship back and that there were only 1000 or 1500 people in the protests (there are some estimates that go beyond 300.000! and only in Rio de Janeiro, there were more in S�o Paulo and other cities!) but even foreing magazines such as forbes were fooled by their lies!

Our government now has a plan to cut the internet cables that connect Brazil and the US and join a paralel internet that is being created by Rusia and China. We dont want that and if this goes on everything will be lost for us! We want, and we need your help to let the world knows that we want freedom from a soon to be dictatorship, we are not calling on another one! And the people are togheter in the streets, not only a few!

The problem appears to be worldwide, OP. Here is an example of what we have here in Mexico. To make matters worse, our taxes are being used to pay people on the social web (such as Hispachan) to defend the corrupt government and to insult the opposition.

We have that problem here too mate, they are caled "MAVs" (something like virtual spaces militance"), are people paid with tax money to say good things of the government and kill the reputation of anyone who says something against it... Foro de São Paulo has a political agenda that goes beyond Brazil, it wants to take power over all the latin america and caribbean. They already manipulated elections in venezuela, brazil, argentina, equador and colombia... They are about to do the same at uruguay and we think that Chile will be next.
