Living in the Netherlands now, and I'm done here and want to move.
California always seemed as a warm, nice place with blue lagoon beaches, palm trees and a rocky/sandy environment. What can you guys tell me about it?

Few good jobs unless u are in tech but Silicon Valley is ultra expensive to live in

Among the highest standard of living in the world

Has one of the highest tax rates

High crime, cost of living is high, people are pretty shallow overall, terrible traffic, shit air pollution, and shit gun laws making it so 95% of the people carrying guns are criminals.

Living in bay area going on 6 yrs originally from east coast. Overall fake people, some are cool, very high cost of living, over crowded and shit traffic. Women are some of the best in the states. Gangs are more prevalent then other parts of country I've been in. Giants win the world series and people acting like idiots last night. Bandwagon fans looking for reasons to act stupid. And weather is usually sunny and "perfect" although I prefer rain and cold so I'm out of luck. Lots going on here with social events, entertainment; concerts, sports.

gonna bump this thread and say that socal is actually 100% as great as people make it out to be, particularly LA proper. wonderful people, culture, vibes. it's a bit hot though and only getting hotter.

not a big fan of norcal but there's worse places
