Am going now to get a strep test taken. I'm fucking terrified. Help...

I had strep throat about 5 times as a child, one time for a month. Put it this way, you're going to be fine. You're old enough for some good medicine for your throat and you'll be able to live off of soft foods for a while.

The swab thing is pretty much nothing compared to strep. It'll get done and over with in almost an instant.

When I told my doctor I thought I had strep he looked in, saw the white bumps on the back of my tongue with fever/sore throat/deathly feeling and knew immediately. It's that sort of thing.
