Change my Facebook name after exceeding the limit

So, /lounge/, how can I change my Facebook name after exceeding the limit?
It's been over a year since I last changed it, and the name I want to use isn't inappropriate or too common.
It keeps telling me that they require me to provide my real name, or a copy of my government issued ID.
Fuck that.
If a kind anon could provide some insight I would be forever grateful.

I've considered this, but I don't feel comfortable sending my picture.
Will any legit looking ID suffice even if I change the picture and name?
