They'll hit their quota for employing a % of minorities - nobody will be allowed to ask you anything about your spiritual beliefs at interview (against the law), and people will be scared to upset you - because muslim fanatic.

It sounds to me like you should keep pushing for a job doing what you want. Super cliche, but do what you love and all that. I really love what I do and it makes all the difference. You can settle momentarily, as a stepping stone, but keep lookind ahead and don't quit until you find what you want for yourself. You have the tools/education to do it, now its on you to seek something out- not on returning to school for another path
