I've been using reddit, 4chan on and off for years and just started using 4ct, I always end up using reddit more. Yes, there's retarded circle jerking stuff but it's easy to avoid if you stay away from certain subs. Not to mention /b/ has plenty of circlejerking memeish stuff too, like calling people newfags, calling things b8, etc

Meanwhile on /b/, you literally see the exact same shit every single day. Fap thread, YLYL, loli thread, fur thread, ITT: post titties/porn webm's, etc. It gets repetitive and boring despite how infrequently I browse here.

Not to mention the basic structure of the websites better cater to this; in a board your topic will be lost quickly without posts whereas on reddit, it will remain there with other similar threads and will be seen by people following/subscribed to that subreddit.

I don't see a lot of memes, and when I do, I don't care, because it's the same on 4ct. I go to about three different boards on 4ct and they all have their own personal jokes that other boards would be confused about because they're restricted to that particular board (unless of course they lurk lots of boards). I mean go to /fit/ and they all have their own niche jokes that no one gets unless you're a /fit/izen.
