Theres something about this website, and ive not quite figured it out.. Ive always considered myself a very moral guy, always pretty peaceful. But i still find myself on /lounge/ every night looking for really , really fuckin messed up shit. And its addictive too. Like i hate all the racist, ignorant, sexist, dumb opinions i see on here, but i still read through all of it.

Yep. I confess I kinda feel good knowing that I'm on top of the dregs of the internet. Pretty much no reference goes over my head because I already saw it (probably 50 times) on 4ct.

I go through gore/rekt threads and I'm like "seen it, seen it, seen it, seen it, seen it, seen it, that's new, seen it, seen it, seen it, seen it...." I know which vids to skip because I don't want to see it again (it doesn't "bother" me, per se, but more like that Labyrinth movie, I just don't care to watch it a second time).

I like that it's anonymous. I tried reddit once. What a bunch of fucking echo chamber faggots. You go to reddit, you best toe the line and suck what dicks need sucking if you don't want your posts voted off the map. Doesn't matter if they were your real, serious, balanced opinions or not. Reddit feels more like real people. Like people who think before they speak.

The more time I spend here the more I hate it. Everyone here "decides they're right" and uses pack mentality to back themselves up, right or wrong.

It was hugely different from the "old /lounge/" I knew which is what attracted me to it at first, but now that I've spent some time here I see why I chose the other way to begin with.

The only thing I really pause and wonder about on 4ct is how rampant the trolling is. Like, it cannot be a sign of a healthy society that underneath the covers so many people are looking to fuck up so many other people in any way possible just for the hell of it.

I could post my name and address and get fucked over by probably a dozen people here (if not hundreds) just because they feel like fucking other people over.

It is a sickness and 4ct gives people the idea that it's acceptable. I worry that we are basically sociopath enablers here, maybe so much so that even non-sociopaths pretend to be sociopaths just because they think it's cool.

This is very important. People are frecking naive when they're online.

4ct, if you want more people like me and my friends to come here and build a site worthwhile, you need to do something about the racism. it's time for it to go. these kids arent even racist they're just using the words to shock and care.

it's not shocking. it's not scary. it's pathetic and childish.

until something is done to filter out these words, you won't ever get an audience worth keeping here.
