¿Quién es? ¿Quién es?

What the fuck should I do with my life

I have no idea what I'm going to do. I finished high school and then I worked for 4 years doing several minimum wage jobs and then went to college. I studied History for a year, which is something I like. Turns out I hated the degree, thought it was boring and dropped out.

Then I worked for a little while as a carpenter (which I thought I might like but also hated), and back in September applied to college again, this time for a Language & Literature degree. Once again, I hate this and I think the Literature part is too pretentious for me.

I've had doubts about what I wanted to do all my life. I don't have any hobbies or interests. There's nothing I'm particularly good at either.

I've also felt detached from the people I work/study with. People who work in the jobs I've had are too dumb, people who go to college are either too intelligent or dumb but think they're too intelligent.

I love being outside and travelling, but there's no money to be made in that (quite the opposite).
Any advice?

Your life sounds very similar to mine
only advice i can offer is stop focusing on career and focus on the money
go for a stem degree
save money
have more options, like opening up a buisness if you feel like it

i base my happiness from my life outside work. Work is our 'modern' hunting and survival, everything else is the fun

go for a stem degree
in my country that would imply studying 3 years of Maths, 2 of Biology/Geology and 2 of Chemistry.
I picked a different course in high school so I didn't have any of those from the 9th grade onward and they're required for stem degrees.
Not to mention I'm awful at those subjects.

I have about 15k€ saved up, which is my budget for the degree I'm studying right now.

And I know what you mean, I try not to let work consume me, what does consume me though is money. And there's no money without work, that's what's stressful.

Your already miles better off than me
id look for a traineeships with a company or an apprenticeship if your country offers them, may be a better option than uni, i know i would have rather have done that, probably in a stem field such as aerospace engineering.
