I have a hairy ass. Like really fucking hairy. Shit gets caught in it, it gets sweaty, etc etc. Now I know that it's okay for guys to have hairy asses, because come on, guys are hairy right? That being said, do any of you have experiences with shaving yours? How did it feel? How did you shave it? Did it make life better or worse?

You will regret shaving it as soon as the hair will start to grow out. It will feel like you have a cactus between your buttcheeks.
Be smart, and use scissors, or better yet - a trimmer.

If you're getting shit in it, learn to shit and wipe without wadding up a bunch of tissue paper and smearing it all over the place.

That being said, don't fucking shave it. Man up and get some Nair, or equivalent product. Put it on for 10 minutes. It's gonna sting a bit by the end, just fucking man through it. Rinse it off. Again, it's gonna sting a little, but keep telling yourself it's worth it. Now just get through the next day or two. You're gonna be a little sensitive there. Maybe wait for your weekend to do that. Anyway, after 2 or 3 days of annoyance you'll have a nice hair-free ass for a while. If you want you can try the Nair for sensitive areas although I heard you gotta turn in your man card for that one.

I shave regularly. Girlfriend prefers it but I did before her because it feels cleaner.

Trim front pubes short
Shave balls
shave stray hairs on shaft and base of shaft
shave gooch and asshole squeaky clean

The obvious man reason is encouraging more oral - which it definitely does. Secondary reason would be a cleaner feeling down there. Usually do this once a week but I'm not very hairy
