Anyone else getting tired of edgy, sheltered teenagers bashing feminism because of stereotypes portrayed on the Internet? I've met feminists from all over the world and 99% of the time my experiences have been positive. None of the ones I met hate men or want to reign superior. The movement is called "feminism" because women need to be empowered, contrasting with men who most likely already are. I mean sure, I like to laugh at the bullshit Tumblr feminist posts, but it's really getting old and overused hearing "feminazi" being thrown around for no particular reason. Shit, even 9fags are using anti-feminist jokes, isn't that a sign we need to grow up?

I have nothing against feminists that truly want equality, it's the feminists that declare that all men are rapists, flirting is rape, and that sort of thing that I hate.

If any or all women were saying they were humanists instead of feminists there would be much much less bashing.

But they are transparent when they go on about feminist this and that, they are not interested in society or humanity, they are only interested in whats good for women. Which does not sound bad, but it's not like they want to be included in the military draft. They want everything that's negative about being a woman to be removed while keeping all the benefits.

The difference is that women are encouraged to embrace their reproductive impulses, no matter how destructive to society. Which, when they have all the say in reproductive rights, is pretty dangerous.

After a few years a woman's instincts tell her to dispense with her current spermbag and find another (possibly superior) one to milk dry for a few years.

If accommodated for by society (as it is), this leads to increased divorce rates (mostly initiated by women), which in itself leads to the breakdown of the family unit.

Now single mothers with an array of fatherless kids (all from different fathers) is commonplace, when it should be an aberration.

These kids usually grow up to be defective in some big way, contributing to the next generation of broken homes. Repeat until the eventual breakdown of society.

Civilisation kind of depends on both sexes controlling their baser impulses for the sake of the common good. See how that's all kind of falling apart now?

Serious question, is feminism still relevant today in the U.S.?
