It's Friday night, /lounge/. Why are you on here instead of doing something social?

I'm here because my uni housemates have people over for the weekend from their hometowns, and I'm too shy/afraid/whatever to go and interact with them because I get anxious in large groups during social situations, especially large groups of people I don't know. Stuff like starting a new job, I can handle. But not this.

So that's my excuse. What's yours?

Firstly, don't sit in front of your computer on a Friday night and bitch about how boring life is. Go out, bang a girl, murder a prostitute, shoot up some skooma, enlist in the army, exhaust all the possibilities open to you or that can be opened to you and THEN whine about how boring everything is.

Secondly, don't bring up a suicide attempt, especially not in a conversation with someone you just met. All it does is show them you care about people knowing you've tried and failed (somehow) do kill yourself.

Im 29 have lived a total of 8 years with gf's. Watching a film with most women is awful. im single now and cant even tell you how happy i am just sittng alone in my apt on a friday with some takeout watching whatever I want, whenever i want. Oh the movie sucks well i'll just turn it off and play Dota2 for 3 hours straight drinking some premium vodka with all that extra money I have now. I am comfy incarnate.
