Is it worth buying a new cpu or should i spend my money on another gtx 970 to sli with my current setup?

My specs: Cpu: i5 2500k, Gpu: Gtx 970, Mobo: P8Z68-V PRO, 8gb ram.

I dont know if the newer cpus fit my mobo socket
