I need some help here. Im gonna buy my first gaming computer for christmas, and I really need some advice/tips on what to get or do.
My budget is gonna be around 800 dollars.
I dont need anything ridiculous but I want something that can run high end games very decently. Gonna be paying games like killing floor 2 when it comes out and payday 2, warthunder, and whatever newer releases peak my interest.
should I go with a desktop or a laptop?
Id like a laptop because I want to be able to Take it to my friends house and do LAN party shit. But if a desktop would prove to be more reasonable/cost effective/quality for the same price than I would gladly get a desktop.

I was an idiot when I first built my PC. I got bad parts. I currently have an i3 and Z77-D3H. In the new year I aim to get an i5 and new motherboard. Now, I only have £200 for it.
