So, I have a project for a new gaming pc and I've already bought motherboard, ram and power supply. (I dont' have a high budget)

My idea for the missing components was:
Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-02
Monitor: AOC E2461FWH 23.6''
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: Asus Radeon R9 270X

I'm still a little undecided on which type of cpu cooler i should buy, liquid cooling system or not?

Any advice, /comp/?

Don't go liquid, it really isn't worth it unless you are doing heavy overclocking. Go with whatever has the best reviews. Also try and spring for a intel cpu if you can still return the motherboard, intel is better than AMD for gaming. AMD's billion cores really don't help.

liqduid is a huge waste of money and power.

you're going to need the same amount of fans, only with a heatsink instead of a pump/radiator

Cooler master x6. Out of production but enough cooling capacity that it turns the fan occasionally if it needs to. Highly recommend. Size of a fat babies head.

For low budget builds, don't go water cooling, air cooling will be find, but you should probably consider a more powerful card, go with an AMD 6350 if the 8350 isn't on sale and upgrade the 270x to a 280-290x, The 290x has dropped in price dramatically, and it is worth ever penny spent.

I have the 8350 and its a great chip, would definitely recommend especially if you're on a budget.

Go for a nice after market heatsink. It doesn't have to be water cooled but if you use the stock cooling it will sound like a washing machine when its under load. AMDs give off a lot of heat, especially the 8350 and the stock fan cools it with small fans running at high rpm to save on cost, it really is excruciatingly loud, never use one.

As for the GPU, I reccommend Nvidea just because ATI drivers can be shitty sometimes.

Oh, I forgot about the HDD and SSD! I heard a lot of people complaining about the loudness of HDDs and the durability of SSDs, so I'm asking: Is there 1tb HDD and a 32gb SSD you would recommend me ?

As someone who just went from AMD to intel I can't recommend going AMD, particularly a "higher end" AMD.

Even at 4.6 ghz my fx6300 was held back in several games that depended on single core performance (next car game, war thunder, Dayz etc). In these type games an 8350 will perform about the same as my 6300. So if you go AMD go the cheapest route.

To put numbers to it, next car game went from single digits fps with anything over 8 cars, to rarely dipping below 45 fps with 15-20 cars with my new 4690k at stock clocks.

You also dont have a motherboard spec'd.

What's your total budget?

as far as water cooling goes, I just put a water cooler on my R9 290 and the difference is amazing. Overclocked it doesn't get over 55C and it's silent relative to my stereo while gaming.

Also I would wait for gpu prices to fall. with the 970 release amd's are plummeting soon enough you can get a better card for cheap. I would recommend buying used as well.
