Hulu Plus

Ok. So I'm trying this thing out. It's been about a week and while I like the content available and even the ads I can tolerate. The two potential deal breakers are like this:
The ps3 app doesn't let you watch anything for more than 10 minutes without it freezing and I'm subscribed to the showtime add-on which is apparently not available on my smart tv app because my TV is more than 5 minutes old. Seriously wtf? I just read a comment from a guy whose tv was a year and 1/2 old and has the "older" version of hulu that isn't compatible with showtime!
Are they purposely trying to drive customers away?

Google "critical error hulu on ps3" and you'll see pages full of the issue that I have. It's a problem with their servors.

well i would say that in many cases it is a bad idea. but it does work for some. I got three great daughters out of mine. i would not change them at all.

Was it a pain in the ass doing a work around to get it in Canada? Netflix was a breeze with a VPN but Hulu looks painful.

No. It's just as easy. The same process.

I tried it for a month, and while I loved the content, the constant ads were SO annoying that I dropped it in favor of Netflix.
If they charged 10 bucks a month with no ads, I would be right on that!

You can pay 11.99 for almost no commercials. The shows from ABC, NBC, and FOX will still have 1 commercial before the show starts because that is part of their next day streaming rights.

Ah, cool. I'll look into that...

I have a huge queue right now!

Does Hulu still use Flash? Flash is becoming obsolete. They should ditch it for HTML5 already.

In the UK we don't get it at all.

Download this thing called Zenmate, then switch it to America, then buy a Hulu Plus account cheaply online (I bought mine on Ebay for like £8).
