Yes I've used google.
No I won't go on world4ch's /comp/, 'cos /secert lounge/ includes any random shit including "help" (this isn't advice, this is help).
So I've tried practically everything to fix this issue.
Basically there's this 42GB system file that's fragmented as fuck, and it's all quite messy so I can't even deleted it.
Stuff I've tried:
I've got access to the System Volume Information folder, but I can't delete everything in it - case and point, this fucking file. No matter what I do; I get access denied.
Tried a few things in cmd and tried booting in safemode, closing apps/processes etc. Nothing. This file will not delete. Can't defrag it either.
What I'm gonna try next:
1. Remove the C drive and connect to it another PC, try delete the file(s) that way.
2. If all else fails, re-install windows and clear the drive.
Before I do either of these things, anyone got any more ideas?
Btw yes I have googled it. A lot. I tried practically everything so uh - yeah.
