the galactic community? dont just say that as if you know it exists. is this star trek? is the rest of the galaxy just waiting for humanity to develop its own FTL space craft before they swoop in and introduce us to the others that make up our galaxy? Can you think of anything that would split people up more then literally being from different worlds? Saying theres a galactic community makes it sound like space would be filled with anything but different species fighting for their own sakes.
