Here is a simple IQ test.

Most people can solve it /sci/, prove you guys aren't completely braindead

6 square = triangle square implies 5 square = triangle. This implies square = 1 using the first equation. However 1*6 =/= 5*1 so this is retarded

>>2The symbols are just variables you dumb nigger
a + b = 6
6b = ab
6 = a
6 + b = 6
b = 0

star: 1
triangle: 2
circle: 3
square: 4
heart: 5
moon: 9

6 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:01
there's a contradiction:
square*6 = triangle*square
implies 6 = triangle
which makes square = 0 (first line)
what makes line 4 and 5 impossible
7 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:05
>>6Wouldn't that just imply, that line 4 and 5 is
circle*heart+moon=0
circle+heart*moon=0

All I know is that TRIANGLE = 6 and SQUARE = 0.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:14
>>7this could still work if heart would be 1 but the reasoning for triangle being = to 6 would be false since we divided by 0
12 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:16
>>11True.
And the heart is 1.
13 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:20
>>11just noticed this, since we multiply by 0 the second line becomes trivial and thus we have more variables than equations
14 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:24
>>10I replaced TRIANGLE with x and SQUARE with y.
1. x+y=6
2. y×6=xy
Isolate a variable in any equation, I chose to isolate y in 1.
x+y=6
y=-x+6
Substitute this variable into the other equation
y×6=xy
(-x+6)×6=x(-x+6)
-6x+36=-x² + 6x
36=-x²+6x+6x
36=x²+12x
Through trial and error I found x=6. To find y I just substituted 6 into the isolated variable equation.
y=-x+6
y=-6+6
y=0

Everything is zero, besides triangle which is 6
17 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:30
>>4This is how I did it too but the 5th line doesn't sum.

Dont hurt yourself kiddies. Circle does not exist in the domain of real numbers.
Op just wants to feal smug.
Dont give hime the satisfaction.

>>17It does. 4 and 2^3 = 4 AND 8 = 48
22 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:40
Triangle = 6
Square = 0
Circle = 1
Heart = -1
Cresent = 1
Star = 1
23 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:42
Square, moon and circle are all zero. Triangle = 6 and star and heart can be any numbers
24 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:44
>>23And that's the general solution my friends
25 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:47
>>16stop make me feel stupid
26 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:50
>>5He's right.
4x6 = 24 not 2x4. There's no multiplication.
27 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:53
Impossible equations.
A+B = 6
B*6 = A+B
Means that
1. A = 0: proven false by AB = B6
or
2. B = 1 AND A=5: proven false by B6 = AB
By the end of the first two equations it's already become an impossibility.
28 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:56
>>27B*6 = A+B
nigger in what 3rd world parking garage did you learn that AB next to each other == A+B?
29 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 00:58
>>28Haiti. I hit the wrong symbol. It's obvious enough by the fact that I didn't have the same thing when I rewrote it below.
30 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 01:01
>>29now explain how A =/= 6 and B=/=0
you didn't address that.
31 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 01:03
Another solution:
heart=moon=star=1
circle=-1
square=0
triangle=6
32 Name: Anonymous : 2017-02-23 01:10
>>30That's actually true.
That makes
D,E,F also = 0
as
D*E+F needs to be 0
meaning F and D or E both need to be 0 to be proven true.
and D+EF = 0*6^D = 0
meaning that D must be 0
0^6 = F = 0
Star can be literally any number.
A = 6
B = 0
C = 0
D = 0
E = anything
F = 0
I was planning to go shower, but I wanted to see if that would work.

Assuming the contraction (eg. star moon circle as opposed to star x moon x circle) means 123 rather than 1 x 2 x 3, a solution is:
Triangle=2, Square=4, Circle=3, Heart=5, Star=1
