Recreate the big bang?

1 Name: Anonymous : 2015-05-26 11:03
I have a theory /sci/

What if one day our technology becomes so advanced in the future that we are able to recreate the big bang? What if we were created by the big bang and we are destine to re-birth the universe by creating a new one?

What if we are in an endless cycle of coming into being, thriving as a species, creating the big bang, repeating?

Opinions on my theory or additions you can make?

I have a theory that i created the very world i live in. It sound nuts, yes, but if you would like to hear it i would be glad to explain it thoroughly

surely before we create a new universe we would simulate the creation and lifespan of a new universe. the number of simulations would greatly outpace the number of real created universes. It is much more likely the universe we currently live in is a simulation of a universe rather than a real universe.

laws of time travel state i already have and will invented time travel in the future

Or, we will become so technologically advanced that we can cure whatever mental condition you have.

Ive got similar theory, universe slowly working its way back to big bang theory. Each time we are spread out, our particles taking a diff. Place in universe each time.

I have a theory where I'm god but I'm just pretty much a fucker so I just watch neon genesis evangelion and get sad and shit so world's fucked up

I mean the only way such a beatiful world like ours can be so fucked up is having me as it's god

That would mean we as humans somehow manage to make a partle accelerator that can create a infinite mass with 2 single atoms of which elements we have yet to found let alone that can split into the infinite amount of all the other atoms elements. With that we as humans would also have to predict future events (even though they may have happened since you put the we create ourselves paradox) the human mind cant (yet) precisely predict all the things the universe is made out of.

Go and read 'The Last Question' by Asimov.

i just read the blurb and it sounds quite good. maybe in the future but i dont have the time right now. do you have a tl:dr version just to quickly explain the idea of it or something?

if only we had better technology we could make as much matter as there was in the big bang and make it bang.

considering we are still under the effects of the firat big bang, a second one would destroy our universe because of the violent reactions.

not this shit again. the universe can only contain a finite amount of information. therefore every simulation we do, can contain only that max amount minus the overhead of what we already use (and thats a lot).

scientists create a super computer and ask it if entropy can be reversed. it says insufficient data. time passes, there is another little vignette, they ask the computer, insufficient data. time passes, another vignette, insufficient data. time passes, the stars blink out, everything is ripped apart by the acceleration of the universe, all that is left is maximum entropy. the computer says 'let there be light'.

Your theory is based upon a theory, thus it makes a lot more assumptions in the process.. it is nevertheless an interesting one. :) I prefer though the theory of the multiverse myself

Space is always expanding.. What if it stops and starts contracting.. Resulting in another Big bang .

It's not 'your theory'. Many people have thought this.

One alteration you can make is to realize that it doesn't need to be a new universe, but the current existing one. Lrn 2 time

I have a similar theory, but it involves everything ending in one giant black hole - and then another big bang.
