It is logical to think logically.

Regardless of whether the Universe had a beginning or if its existence has been infinite, a higher power MUST of created it. Everything is made from something or a mixture of some things. Something cannot develop from nothing.
Obviously this higher power isn't some white bearded guy in the sky. If this higher power has a physical appearance, our minds cannot comprehend what this power would look like or how it would think.
This is just logical and logic always prevails.

Then who created that being?
3 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-10 22:24
If something cannot develop from nothing then where did the higher power come from?

You could argue that human logic is worthless. The laws of Physics break down inside black holes so why would our logic stay intact.

>>2think of it as an endless cycle of existence where the smaller your universe is the faster it runs

>>2,3Yes the infinite regression.
But my point is that the higher power must exist regardless of if there is even higher powers. We are lower of the food chain.

Why does the totality of the extant universe need a cause? Absent the laws of physics, space, time, matter, etc cause is completely meaningless.

>>6so its a never ending cycle of lesser beings being created by a higher power? Where does it end or who stated it all?

OP is trying to express the truth which almost never gets mentioned in atheism threads; that any consideration of what god is or isn't is totally and absolutely doomed to fall so far short of the reality as to be almost meaningless. Note, almost.

>>9OP lost all credibility with his second grade English. He's 17 year old who just got stoned for the first time. You a good creation thread go start one yourself because this one is bullocks.

Paid science
>>2Then who created that being?
You/thelikesofyou say universe created itself without a creator, so why is it so hard for you to accept that God is in that matter.
Am not saying he self created himself but what i am saying is how the fuck can you ignorant fucks believe that this vast universe did when you dont think God can.
Christians will never understand and will keep on denying it, nowhere in the bible does jesus declare himself a God. The whole God having a beard agenda was pushed by these fucks.
Sadly the mudslims got it right when it comes to God.
They believe and say that God has no form nor does he have partners nor does he need to reproduce like us humans not a muslem but they are everywhere and all you need to do is to ask the right person. (meaning ask more than 1 person)

>>11The bearded God is actually Zeus from when the church mixed paganism with Christianity,
And white Jesus was Michaelangelo being commissioned by the church to paint Jesus, but they refused the dark Jesus painting, so he made his nephew stand model for white Jesus

>>1Thinking logically means knowing before coming to conclusions. You don't know how the universe was created, so you can't claim it was created by a higher being
Idiot

>>11What is more believable?
A complicated god capable of creating the universe popped into existence all by itself;
or
The simple rules of the universe popped into existence all by themselves, and more complicated things evolved over time from that set of rules?
Pro tip: the sum of all the energy added to all the gravity is net of zero. The universe appears to = 0.

OK, so a god created it? How does this affect my everyday life? For all I know he created it and left forever.
