People don't remember

We are getting to the point where people don't really have to remember things. You need a fact, you google it. If we don't HAVE to remember things, will we forget how?

Personal memories may soon go this way as well. We already pull out our phones any time anything important happens and take pictures or video of it. Will we forget how to recall our own lives?

Our brains atrophy from underuse, constantly relying on machines to tell us all the answers, and everything on our phones is uploaded to the cloud. How long before instead of a phone, these electronics are installed directly into us in the form of electronic implants?

And all our memories and facts are stored on the internet. How long before we can do a quick mental search and have access to any fact on earth? Or even other people's memories? Gentlemen...are we becoming the Borg?
