Going to University for Computer Science in the fall, and I've always been a Windows advocate and done all my IDE work in Windows. Never really wanted to fully commit to Linux b/c vidya, but I've used it and really liked the distro I tried (Arch). Yet I'm reading a ton about how Macbooks are great dev machines and great laptops for college, and it's hard not to believe based on the battery, display, and hardware. I just want a kick ass laptop that doesn't try and replace my gaming windows desktop. Any suggestions?
