Lots of reasons, we could start with colonists ruining and murdering many people, taking people away etc leaving families left behind utterly destroyed and scarred. We could also talk about the many asian and western corporations stealing minerals from their land to use in our tech. We could talk about the western world using the continent of africa as a trashcan, dumping all our old electronics etc there. We could talk about corruption in the governments, often because of deals they make with european and asian corporations.

What is fair compensation? If the country's leader is only interested in pocketing the money how is giving him more going to help the people? And since when is it the responsibility of any company to pay more then the asking price?

Black guy here. It feels like "racist" white folk try so hard to avoid white guilt. You don't need to feel guilty to acknowledge the fucked up shit going on in the country. We are able to work together and strengthen each other's weaknesses, so why don't we all stop being insecure manlets and do it. White guys should be able to date black girls as much as black guys with white girls. We should be able to be brutally honest about how we feel about different races without adding fire to the flame in order to create a better future for the next generation. Most if not all of these government officials don't give a flying fuck about any of us rednecks, niggers, spics, chinks etc anyway. They only want their money and power. We have the ability to change the world yet we don't use it. It's crazy. We need to think about things from a logically empathetic perspective. We need not be sensitive as fuck, but also not be indifferent to each other's struggle. Balance.
