Ever hear of the left wing activist who brought about fascist, left wing governments in the Soviet Union, eastern Europe, Cuba, China, etc?

USSR, China, Cuba etc aren't ``fascism". Maybe in a casual sense you can talk about them having ``fascist" policies, but that's not really the proper use of the term. We already have a broader, proper term for policies of the sort that they had in both Nazi Germany in the USSR - totalitarianism. Both were totalitarianist states. But Nazi Germany was fascist, fascism being a specific form of totalitarian political system that is based on right-wing nationalism, a strong military, and a return to traditional values. The USSR was also totalitarianism, but their ideology/philosophy was quite different, it wasn't about restoring traditions, it was rather about continuing this revolution to fully overthrow the old order and establish new values based on Marxist philosophy.
