I don't think society will ever come to that, part of what makes society society is that people will disagree with your individual beliefs. It is why there are laws in place.

For example, you may believe that it is okay to express your love to a child in a very physical manner. The law, and most people, will say otherwise.

A child is unable to process that sort of stuff. Their mind sees it different than an adult. Same with using drugs/alcohol. They are too immature to process the pros & cons so they cannot make an informed decision.

Like me, conservatives who post here do so because of the opposition, not in spite of it. There are right-wing boards where all you get is agreement and I don't bother with those.

I'm disappointed that there often isn't more brainpower fueling that opposition, but still, it's better than an amen chorus.

Most of the posters here are partisan sheeple. Thus, being superior is reserved for those who recognize this behavior, not for those who participate.

Over the years I've found that posters who refer to others as "sheeple" tend toward using meaningless labels to try to paint themselves as superior. I've also been amused at objections to partisanship on a political message board, being similar to objecting to being a fan of a team on a sports message board. Who knew that someone on such a board would pick a side? Shocker! Finally, typing "Faux News" reveals a futile desire for liberal-only mass media, which in turn reveals a fear of hearing opinions contrary to one's own. I say this as a daily listener of NPR.

I like the word sheeple. It describes partisan sheep like you perfectly. The reason you don't like it is because your behavior matches it's definition.

The fact that you're attempting to paint me as a liberal shows just how out of touch you are with those with true intelligence -- i.e. those who display the ability to question everything around them. It's the one tangible thread that separates moderates from extremists like you.
