Individualism is the way to beat racism.

People love to make black people certain thing, in what I call a cult of blackness, and white people this, hispanics that.

As if they are some collective entity to be held accountable by the actions of everyone in their race. And if some person (let's say Kanye as our example) does something out of line, shoot, they get their black card revoked. Those darn uncle tom's screwing everything up... /s

But it seems that no one can escape it. Heck, I am often stereotyped in some online circles as white first, so I must be dumb and naive and can't talk about race issues honestly.

It is like anyone, regardless of how good they are in life, or their other qualities, is always secondary to what group they are identified as.

It is sickening.

But if we start treating and identifying people as people first, individuals, and just stop taking into account race - racism would cease to exist.

Unfortunately, SJWs totally rely on making race THE ISSUE, in EVERYTHING. How can one cure a fire by pouring gasoline on it again?

Treat people as individual people. INDIVIDUALISM RULES!

I basically agree: everyone is different and there is only one race anyway, the human one. Lumping white people together is just as ridiculous as lumping black people together. But having said that, there is no doubt that there is still a great deal of institutionalised racism in both your country and mine, and it needs addressing.

On the flip side, if you want people to treat each other as individuals, then people should stop defining themselves as part of groups. i.e racial...

Yes, that's my philosophy. However humans classify things and other people.

I was also thinking something along these lines but I like and am proud of my community and culture. Not everything of course but I'm never going stop identifying myself as a black woman.

We can't because racism exists.
