These people are dangerous!

The director of Ryerson University’s School of Social Work has stepped down amid a hue and cry that he committed “a violent act of anti-Blackness, misogyny and misogynoir (a newish term for misogyny directed at black women)” by walking out of an anti-racism meeting last month.

There are some good things that Canada could adopt from the USA (unsweetened iced tea comes to mind) but this kind of nonsense isn't one of them!

They deserve more mockery than ever. Milo is right. Trump is the greatest opportunity to drive a stake through the heart of Political Correctness.

Trump might actually be good at that.

Leaving a room should not be considered violence.

Don't be a short sighted fool, once we reach the "Mockery Stage", they REINVENT THEMSELVES. There is no "WE WON!" stage after which one can relax, there are many scumbags out there, and freedom requires constant vigilance.

So, what if the poor guy just had to go to the bathroom?

Quick note, I'm from Toronto and Ryerson is well known for loonie leftism. Unfortunately, a large number of our journalists are graduates of this institution, so we have to put up with this every time we read a newspaper, or turn on a local tv station.

So, what if the poor guy just had to go to the bathroom?

There are plenty of possible reasons why he had to leave - but even assuming the worst, which is that he hated the speaker or strongly disagreed with something she said, it is absurd to extrapolate that into "you do not value black students". If that were true, he wouldn't have been there in the first place!

As it's Blatchford, I'll take her take with a grain of salt.

While the language is grating, it's reasonable to call someone on walking out at a bad time. This getting ramped up as much as suggested, if true, is ridiculous, though.

Im still laughing at them. Who cares about them? They commit crimes, They will go to jail. Trump will make sure the cops go after them.

Just goes to show how anti-black racism is not that big of a deal. I mean it can't be if you have to make it up.

Describing someone who quietly walks out as committing an act of violence isn't merely redefining language to suit political ends. It shows an arrogant detachment... no, disregard... from reality for which all thinking, rational people should rebuke.
