Its a mentality toward money, people of other races have it too, but its more common among blacks.
My wife's sister is married to this guy (both are white) who won a $38,000 dollars settlement with his former employer last spring, and he was broke by Christmas.
My father-in-law calls it "n!@@3r rich", its when you get a sum of money, spend it all as fast as you can like there is no tomorrow, and go back to being broke ASAP.

But he's an entrepreneur. Tried his luck at his own record label, his own clothing line, his own movie, his own TV series and none of them did as well as he'd hoped. Combine that with his failed record sales and you got his current situation.

Go to the website, "Celebrity Net Worth." Check out how the famous and popular have faired throughout the years. Take your favorite television show for instance from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc. Look up each of the cast members (if info. is available) These people aren't rich.
Most celebrities (alive), black, white, etc. from past successful television shows, films, music haven't failed too well
