Do you miss life before the internet?

Sometimes I yearn for the days when it was broadband and it was too expensive to have. I wished we never opened those free CDs from AOL that you got in the mail.

Not at all. Access to so much information has made life better in many ways.
I do sometime miss the way the internet was before all the social media platforms took over, though.

I miss going and getting one of Mr Khams 'special' videos he kept under the counter, at our local newsagent.
He had some good German imports.

Yes and No. Yes, because back then people communicated on more personal levels such as the phone and letters in the mail. Kids used encyclopedias and really worked hard to earn good grades...no google. No because like everyone else, I'm addicted to the short cuts in life and the internet falls heavily into that category.

Ah dial up AOL. Going into dirty sex chat rooms when I was 13. No I don't miss it.
