Race relations aren't the same in Britain as they are in America.

There were riots a few years ago in London over a cop shooting a minority there I believe.

But yeah race relations seem better there.

There were small riots about that but they were hijacked by a criminal element in the city. It basicaly turned into a looting free for all for anyone of non-white colour.

It was pretty frightening and weird because the rioting seem to spread like a virus. I remember just at it's peak it was reaching where I lived in London, shops in Hammersmith closed early and a few windows were being broken.

It was as if the whole of London was about to be engulfed by mindless looting, but thankfully it died out the day after dole pay day.

That's basically what happened in Ferguson and Baltimore. It really became about looting and destruction and the reasons behind the anger were lost in a sea of criminality.

It had very little to do with the shooting and more to do with benefit loving niggers trying to get trainers.

Ah, those halcyon days of which yielded the disturbing spectacle of left-leaning TV reporters excitedly interviewing looters and asking them why they were looting..... in orgasmic expectation that they'd blame it all on the nasty Tory government!

Unfortunately, from what I saw most said looters were unaware of what Tories were and actually in power again (well, in a coalition to be specific) so didn't respond as hoped, thus prompting the disappointed yet persistent interviewers to lead their interviewees by asking them whether it was (hint) all the Tories fault!

"er yeah, init, like, if da Toriez like, init, like didn't oppress us like, we wouldn't 'ave to like, er, nick deez fags and Nike trainers.....init"

^Clearly a damning indictment of ruthless capitalism by the (not so) honest 'oppressed' immigrant underclass methinks...

They deal with a lot less crime than American cops do, at least violent crime. They don't have to worry about being shot.

Of course....nothing major at the time but it will happen to varying degrees given nothing ever stays the same. Only a few years ago there were austerity measures and the entirely refined British were out there burning down buildings, lighting up cars, and destroying property. Heck, even one of the Harry Potter kids was arrested. When the austerity measures hit agian...become more punitive....and demographics massively continue to shift...then yes...there will be more chaotic times for London. That being said, it will be far worse in other regions of the EU prior to that.

Huh? I thought the Harry Potter kid was arrested for dealing drugs - or at least the one I was thinking about. Was there another one?
