An Uber driver yanked a nine-months-pregnant passenger’s service dog from her and slammed the pooch onto a Manhattan street because he did not want the animal in his car, cops said on Tuesday.

The 30-year-old Manhattan woman got into Muhammad Qayyum’s cab with her dog, named Brooklyn, at around 7:25 p.m. on Broadway near West 56th Street on Jan. 21, police said.

“I will not take your dog in my car,” Qayyum, 23, told the woman, according to cops.

Mojeh Adams Schaniel told the driver that the silky terrier is her service dog, but Qayyum didn’t care. He got out of the vehicle, opened the rear passenger door and snatched the dog out of the woman’s lap by its leash and threw it to the ground, police said.

The dog suffered a dislocated hip and an injury to its right back leg, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Manhattan DA’s office.

Yep never trust a person that does not like a dog.

All he had to do was to say: "I'm sorry, madam, my religion prohibits me from contact with a dog, so please wait for a couple of minutes and I'll make sure another drive will come and pick you up" but no - in his culture it would be insulting for him to debase himself before a woman.

You do know there are thousands of Muslim cab drivers around the US and Europe who do not treat people or dogs like this.

Yeah he's a douchebag. I wish I can hit him with my car. I hope Brooklyn will be OK. He's there doing his job and he has to face asswipes like this.

It's tough to believe that some of these service drivers don't have their personal preferences listed as part of the App.

If it's something that's gonna lead to refusing service, you'd think they'd be more upfront about it rather than wasting everyone's time......much less leading to violent altercations.

Since Uber drivers work for themselves, there's no way to weed out the nut cases. And Muslims have been driving cabs in the US for decades...the vast majority are not Islamic crazies and don't toss service dogs into the street.

The vast majority of nazis didn't oven gas people either, but sanity prevailed and we still put a stop to nazism.
