What a loathsome cúnt of a man. Not only did I know nothing of the neglect and ignominy he inflicted upon his own child, I had no idea I didn't know about it (for obvious reasons).

At the time most folk regarded it as a bit of a joke. Everybody was pretending to get very indignant because a middle aged man had got his girlfriend in the club, but in reality we were all having a quiet chuckle.

And then Parkinson the Prick dumps his kid and refuses to pay for her care. The only good thing about it was that it ended any chance he might have of becoming prime minster.

Maybe that ought to be part of the test for any would be prime minister. Boris Johnson, Ken Livingstone, John Major and Jeremy Corbyn have all got form in the legover stakes, but they have also managed to remain on amicable terms with their ex wives and girlfriends. But Parkinson wasn't just an oaf, he was a stupid one as well.
