"Spell Check Induced Dyslexia" A new Disability?

My spelling has always been well above average. Lately though, I find myself misspelling the same words consistently. It's always a misspelling that makes the word I wanted to type into another word, often a homonym, not just a misspelled version of my word. The instead of they, here instead of hear, there instead of their, your instead of you're, etc. The last two really annoy me because they have always indicated ignorance to me so I may have misjudged many posters here who are obviously suffering from Spell Check Induced Dyslexia (SCID).

Anyway, until my disability is recognized and funding is provided to me to make me whole as is my human right, I will no longer fight it by proofreading my posts. Fair warning.

I've noticed this, too.

If you don't use a skill, it deteriorates. Like being able to do arithmetic in your head.

So that is why my hand writing has gone to rat poop, when it used to be pretty good.

Either that or you've had a stroke.
