I am Canadian and I am personally proud of my country (or its leader rather) for doing this. Some are Christians some are Muslims but all of them are escaping from ISIL and will be furnished with a safe place to live.

Of course. This may surprise you but I am fine with my fellow Canadians regardless of whether they grow up Christian, Muslim, any other religion or atheist. It is their choice and I am happy and tolerant to all of it.
