Mostly undereducated people are supporting Trump

I like some of Trump's antics. He can be funny but I can't say I am surprised at this. If you check out some of the stats, he polls quite poorly with republicans with a college degree. When it comes to high school grad or below, he polls 2-1 to the next candidate.

Trump has the appearance of succeeding because he as already consolidated his base: blue collar republicans who lack post-secondary education. While he and his base keep thumping their chests over the poll numbers, the college educated republicans have yet to coalesce around one candidate, which means that Trump appears much more popular than he actually is.

Now, once the field starts to thin and Trump continues to do well, then I will say there is something there. He has to start winning the people who don't hoot and cheer over the idea of a wall on our border with Mexico.

Didn't that Obama guy get a higher % of high school dropouts as compared to Mr. Romney?

I have a college degree and most people with college degrees are stupid as hell. Brb spending $60,000 in loans to major in English.

It'd be easy to make fun of those people but honestly it's too cruel since they rely on the policies that Republican politicians often trick them into opposing. I'd rather criticize the GOP candidates that keep selling the same BS like it's freshly defecated as well as the media for deliberately blacking out Bernie Sanders' campaign and propping up Hillary Clinton whom no one even likes evidently.
