As a Vermonter, I ...... actually have no real problem with it. I can understand people's skepticisms but most of the refugees are no different than us and want to live a peaceful life away from the violence, so I'm not gonna be quick to judge and automatically assume they're affiliated with ISIL.

But honestly, do we even know that the ones who attacked Paris were refugees. For all we know, they could have been normal citizens in France for years, even before the idea of opening borders came up. Hate me all you want, but it's just my view on it.

Furthermore, if I were a Muslim and I wanted to bring terror to Vermonters, I'd have to move to Vermont, because there aren't many Muslims who have been living in Vermont for years.

This refugee argument is pointless. Even if the Paris attackers were not refugees, that doesnt matter. They were Muslims, born to parents who moved to Europe. The point is they were all of some sort of African/Middle East descent. Just like the London attackers, just like the Spain attackers, just like the CHarlie Hebdo ones as well. Thats not a coincidence.

If it is families and the elderly, then fine. If it is young men age 18-40, then get ready for mayhem the moment one of their demands are not met....

Honestly, my only concern really is finding a place for them to live. I can understand them wanting to leave the violence, but we're already a messed up country as it is with all the poverty and homelessness, so it won't be easy. But I'm not gonna be quick to judge and tell them to leave because there's a possibility that one of them could be a terrorist.

We have our very own domestic terrorists here. Remember Timothy McVeigh? He was home grown. Yes we have a messed up country. A little more mess won't make all that much difference.

Sometimes my family gets into arguments. That doesn't mean I'm going to invite other families over to have even more arguments because "it won't make all that much difference". The thing is, my family is my family, I can't get rid of them or replace them without suffering a staggering loss. But, I don't have to let anyone else come in and join the silliness, I can just lock the front door.

Easy for you to say, live in Vermont, it's not like you live even remotely close to a major city. The day they attack Vermont is the same day they attack Wyoming or North Dakota.

If they want to live under Islamic law there are places in this world they can go. Leave Europe alone.
