Look how awkward Colbert becomes. I think Colbert is someone who would readily admit that discrimination and institutionalized racism exist but he still becomes awkward and flustered when someone calls out his Whiteness. The feeling that he seems to be experiencing is the basis for the aggressive behavior by some Whites when someone points out their privilege.

Colbert was charming & didn't miss a beat. I've seen him in squirm mode & that wasn't it.

America must have more people of color on their tv shows.

Take a gander at Latin American tv. You might, MIGHT, find a whitey crackerass on some of their shows and a black person even less.
