When was the last time someone told Tyler Perry his movies needed to include a few Asians, and maybe some Indonesians or even White people to be more "diverse".

And as JK Rowling has said, this is only the first of third movies set in a New York wizardry world, so non-white characters are coming. And if any of the narrative is set in Harlem, then having only white characters would be rather dumb.

As for Tyler Perry movies, maybe he should cast white and asian people as friends of the black leading characters. Why not? Start a protest.

In "The Haves And The Have Nots," his character, Jeffery, is a gay man who comes from a very wealthy family and is also trapped in the closet.

The particular movie being called out is set in 1920s New York City, a town not known for being exclusively white.

I'm pretty certain that has been suggested to him. Don't most of his movies contain token white characters? Wasn't Kim Kardashian in one of them?
