Should Europe shut the door on those Syrian refugees
1 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 07:14
They will cost a fortune, quite a lot have committed crimes, ISIS is pretending to be them, we can't even provide homes for some of the people who served in the army etc for us. Yes it's sad what's going on in there but we need to look after our own first.

Let's do something about the French and Irish first.
3 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 09:33
>>2Irish you mean the IRA ?
4 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 10:02
>>3I mean the whole fucking lot, then we can take over their land.
Let's do something about the Russian bastards, too.
5 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 10:44
>>4Oh no Russia is the one doing something about ISIS we should back them up.

No. They have the right to be safe and live happy lives. Everybody should help anyway they can.

>>6But shipmate we should help our own first, not the Syrian scum who destroyed there own country and ran...

Och, the old "we have our own to look after" thing, eh?
The government should be 'looking after our own' regardless of refugees...before the refugee thing was an issue. The two matters are not connected.
Ex-service men and women wind up on the streets because the government send them off to phony wars to fight with next to no networks in place to assist them when they return to civilian life. Houses lying empty prior to the arrival of the refugees would still be lying empty. The refugees are bringing in doctors, teachers and other skilled people who will contribute to the economy and more than pay for themselves and the others.
Stop being angry at other poor people instead of the greedy corporations, tax evaders and the tory government that are keeping us all poor.
Go and care about the poor and homeless folk you didn't care about last week somewhere else, Cal. Or give another homeless person 100 quid and a bed for the night. If you haven't done that, then shut your a$$.
You've barely paid enough tax into the pot to cover the amount you were given for free while living on the dole anyway.

You've got it.
10 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 12:59
Yes but taking more refugees means we become even poorer.

Oh I wish! Most of them are clearly not qualified in any way, or they would actually emigrate legally.

Do you know anything about the situation in Syria?

Your pal SFBE there is going to decorate the country with vomit at the weekends and keep the country rich in booze and fag tax recycled into the system he pulls it out of.

I missed you.

>>1Yes they should! It will cost a lot to provide all these people. Portugal is already offering 'services' to the immigrants with houses, food, jobs and subsidies, something that some of our own people don't have the benefit of.

Congratulations to all of us who won the life lottery by being born white and on the right patch of dirt. Hooray.
Let the other fuckers be shit out and die painfully at the hands of horrors because we want cheaper MacDonalds.

>>20Maybe not, but it's definitely about "
you were born in that place that we all like to sell and take our weapons to, so suck it up while I watch X Factor in peace, I don't want my government money compromised, even if there is no evidence it'll be your fault if it is, you belong on that other bit over there being shot in the head and I don't care to understand why, even though I learned to read in my free school. Just fuck off please".

How about the fact as a construction worker who is with an agency and hardly gets another shifts as it is and once more of them come over and start working for cheap will get even less.
24 Name: SuperFratBoyExtreme : 2015-11-08 21:05
>>23How about taking advantage of being shit out your maw into a country with free college tuition, taking an easy loan for a course to improve your skill set or just making sure you work hard enough that big boss man would rather have you on board than a shell shocked guy with a, so far, limited grasp of the English language?
You're already in a better position than 95% of the people on the planet, anon. How much spoon-feeding do you require?
25 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 21:45
Doesn't quite work like that Little with agency's.
26 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 22:08
You and anons seem to be angry at your government but plan to take it out on immigrants.
27 Name: Anonymous : 2015-11-08 22:33
Syrian refugees should fuck off back there shithole right now!

Well Europe is a very heterogeneous group, it is one think for Germany to do so then for country like Portugal/Greece/France, already in a bit of an economical crisis.
One other element is, that accepting them create an incentive for Syrian to quit syria, mostly military aged men (they are 75-80 of the Syrian refugee I think, many escaping conscription to fight ISIS back under a terrible army of a dictator).
Not an easy question, helping them destroy any threat to their safety and make it possible to live and fight back proudly for their home could be a better way to go, creating incentive for them to leave is a tricky thing to do.
Both position have is positive and negative, but accepting woman's/children's seem to not have too much negative attach to it.
