Metropolis has his own Wikipedia page
1 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 11:45
I'm jealous.
2 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 11:52
I'm kind of worried that i'm becoming like him, not the whole terrorist thing, but being anti-social and not leaving the house much.
3 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 11:57
Same here.
4 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:00
So long as that's where your similarities end, I don't think you'll end up like him. I would make efforts to get out of the house, though, even if you're by yourself. Exercise usually makes you feel better.
5 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:06
So I guess it was all worth it in the end

You want a Wiki page? I can get you a Wiki, believe me. There are ways, Dude. You don't wanna know about it, believe me. Hell, I can get you a Wiki page by 3 o'clock this afternoon... with custom CSS. These *beep*ing amateurs...
8 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:16
Reading that wiki stuff about the things he got up to -- yikes, what a creep. Even more than I thought already.
As an actual female what really pisses me off is that more than one of his alternative identities online was posing as a female -- as if we need any more people deciding not to believe someone's a woman when they say they are. This increases the problem of real females being believed online.
9 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:19
Don't worry -- we know you're female. Your reputation for flying off the handle without reason indicates you're stuck in permanent menstruation.
10 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:21
And you don't fool us, missie.
11 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:24
Nice one! Clearly he's on the rag today.
12 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:26
And the funny thing about people like you is that you seem very married to the idea that I'm the one, the only, the sole person on this board who ever gets pissed off at anyone here for anything. That's amusing....
....because you only have to look around here on a daily basis, and notice various people having flame wars with each, bitching at each other, calling each morons for not liking SFBE or RedCream... People getting mad at people on the internet happens every day. And each of those people believe they have a reason to be arguing.
One thing about me is at least I don't get into endless exchanges like some of these argument are. I make my blast at someone then don't care to go round and round with them; I'm done. Some of these people bitterly snipe at each other for three pages of posts.
Also, dude, exaggerate much? I don't even get pissed off all that often. Ever heard of selective memory? One look at my recent posting history and you won't find much to back up up for a while going back.
Clearly you're an ass, though, so suck it. Not mad without reason -- just telling an a-hole he's an a-hole when I see it. You will find that if I'm "flying off the handle" it's not usually at an innocent but at someone who attacks me first.
Most people would deem that fair enough. But then I don't give a *beep* what your type thinks. Next.
13 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:28
Your reply is too long and riddled with factual errors, for example:
You will find that if I'm "flying off the handle" it's not usually at an innocent but at someone who attacks me first.
Yes, next.
14 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:30
what really pisses me off is posing as a female
Nope, that's not true, Prelude. I hate to come to this screwball's defense, but he always adamantly claimed NO gender. That is a fact.
15 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:32
He made fake personas, some of which happened to be female.
16 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:34
As Metropolis he never presented himself as male or female. That is a fact, sir.
17 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:36
You are correct. I, and I would assume prelude was referring to Josh Goldberg's activities across the internet, not only as metropolis.
18 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:38
Yes, thanks
>>17 those are the ones I mean -- it was the other accounts he had around the internet, in which he chose a female name and claimed that gender, even though he didn't do that here.
19 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:40
I should also say I grossly miscalculated his age. I remember getting into the subject of Jaws and Jurassic Park. He said he'd seen the latter in the theater when he was a little kid. Giving him the benefit of the doubt (IF he saw it on opening weekend) I'd guessed he was in his mid-20s. I do believe him though. He had to have seen a re-release.
20 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:42
Yes you're correct -- as Metropolis he was always unclear on which gender he was, that is a fact.
I was referring to the other personas listed on that Wiki page, where, in some of them, he chose a female name and posed as a female for those accounts. He didn't do it here, but on some other internet accounts he had.
21 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:44
Admittedly, I didn't read the page. I don't give him that much credit.
22 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:46
I must be particularly bored today, or nosy...I read the page! Eek, a bit of schadenfreude, I must admit.
23 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:48
Oh, I got something interesting this morning regarding my house.
24 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:50
Cool cool!
I have to run a quick errand out and about, but I'll get back to ya.
25 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:52
I find it amusing how the page says he was either born in 1994 or 1995. Like he's some historical figure where people are unsure of what his birth date was.
26 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:54
So does Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo.
27 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:56
You gotta admit, the guy's trolling resume was incredible. I mean, this guy was literally a professional troll. That takes skill, but if you're basement bound I guess with that amount of time you should reach an expert level of trolling. I can't admire his lack of patriotism though. Anti-American people make me sick, they have no respect for the people who sacrificed themselves to make sure people like him had the freedom to troll.
28 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 12:58
I always thought of him as being the most American person ever.
29 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:03
Considering how diverse and different most of the population really is, I don't think there any person who is "the most American person ever".
30 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:06
Did you hear the great news brah for us action fans ?
31 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:08
Negative. Tell me, brah.
32 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:10
Those Terminator sequels have pretty much been cancelled brah.
33 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:12
Praise the lord, brah. Our prayers have been answered.
Now it's time to round up every last copy of Terminator Genisys and dump it in that ET landfill.
34 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:14
Hopefully Hollywood listens to us now brah I shall be throwing a party later to celebrate this great day.
35 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:16
They better listen to us, I will not accept girly men like Jai Courtney and girly women like Emily Clarke as action heroes.
I shall be throwing a party later to celebrate this great day
Me too, brah. It doesn't get any better than this.
36 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:18
Me too, brah. It doesn't get any better than this.
. Wow, some life.
37 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:20
Source?
38 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:22
source? source? wtf where have you been the last month?
39 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:24
Wow, his own Wikipedia page! They only reserve that honor for the select few...
40 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:28
I bet it get deleted for not being noteworthy..... and that other wikipedia deletion bullshit.
41 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:30
I never had you pegged as a Wikipediaphile.
42 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:32
I don’t understand, was Metropolis the universal troll that got arrested?
43 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:34
arrested for terrorist threats and basically encouraging a terrorist attack where two people were killed
44 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:36
>>43Jealous, that you're not behind bars
>>43?
45 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:38
Not very nice.
46 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:40
>>45Hey, I'm not trying to insult
>>43 or anything, I'm just saying, some people will do anything for fame, don't blame me.
47 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:42
By the way, can you provide a link to that Wiki page?
48 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:44
49 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:46
I really want Metropolis to find some way to access the internet and post about all this.
50 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:48
They should make a Shawshank type movie about him escaping and going straight to an Internet cafe instead of life at the beach.
51 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:50
I think some prisoners are allowed internet access on a limited basis, but prob not ones who committed their crimes using the internet...
52 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:52
Some inmates have internet in prison via smuggled smart phones, but that was a little after my time. The federal BOP doesn't allow any inmates any internet. This article may be of interest:

53 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:54
I wonder if his story will turn into folklore for trolls around the world. You know, like the Wild West outlaw of the Internet, the antihero mobster, the Bonnie and Clyde of the late night corners of the web, or maybe some people will read his story and decide to put the Mountain Dew down and go outside for a change.
54 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:56
He was just a depressed shut-in of above average intelligence who wasted his intelligence trolling because he was afraid to go outside. He's no Kevin Mitnick. His story is only interesting to people who posted on the same forums as him because he went from being a fellow poster to being on the news.
55 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 13:58
Sure, but I think for people as fucked up as him, he's probably some kind of legend.
56 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 14:07
Lots of important stuff is not on Wikipedia. I guarantee.
57 Name: Anonymous : 2015-10-05 14:15
Mind you, I did write most of it which is why anons reported it.
