In Germany the government have passed a new bill to seize vacant commercial and real estate for use with migrants.

They have also started the process of eviction from council homes of German people.

-On Sept. 23rd in Hamburg, city officials introduced a bill that would allow the city to seize vacant commercial real estate (office buildings and land) and use it to house migrants.

-In Tubingen, Mayor Boris Palmer is making offers to rent or buy vacant properties to house migrants. He threatens to use Police Law (Polizeigesetz) if the owners reject his offer and just seize the property.

-In Feb. officials in North Rhine Westphalia seized a resort to house migrants.

-In Nieheim, Mayor Rainer Vidal is using "right of repossession" to terminate leases of German citizens living in state owned apartment buildings so that migrants can move in. In September, 51 year old nurse Bettina Halbey received an eviction notice after living in her apartment building for 16 years to make room for migrants to move in. In the same building a single mother with two children also received an eviction notice to make room for migrants to move in.

-In Braunsbedra, a landlord is evicting dozens of tenants to make room for migrants to move in. He will receive $617 from the govt. for each migrant so the more he can cram in the more money he will make.

-In Lubbecke, teachers and students were given less than 24 hours notice to vacate the Jahn-Realschule, a secondary school housing 150 students. They were ordered to vacate and take a week off school until alternative classrooms could be found.
