Barack Hussein Obama II or George Walker Bush?

I know what I'm asking and I know some people probably wouldn't want to talk about it but I had to ask, given how people talk about both men and given the fact that Obama's turn is winding down, I figured I should ask this. Bush was hated by a great deal of people for many reasons, hell a guy even threw shoes at him and late night show hosts had a field day with the guy. It seems Obama's becomes almost equally hated by people since his second term and arguably in his first, getting bombarded by Trump to show him his birth certificate, some people still believing he's Muslim (that McCain incident during the election & just recently with a guy asking Trump about that). But who do you think is more disliked or more disrespected in your opinion and who do you think was the better President?

Incumbent politicians often get particularly harsh treatment. I'd imagine that in 20-30 years time, most people will look back on Obama more kindly than they will G.W. Bush.

People were supposed to hate Bush. It was his job to be hated.
People were supposed to love Obama. It was his job to be loved.

Back and forth we go ... left and right ... two wings ... but one bird. People need to wake up and smell the coffee.

Bush may be the more instantly hate- able, but honestly, i remember that first Black President thing just being blown so outts proportion, it actually made me hate the nigger. Literally everyone from my grandmother to the local bully in my area was soooo psyched and convinced that this loser actually meant something, it just blew my mind. I felt like i was literally the last intelligent person left on Earth that Summer...

Bush is pretty bad. I'd be more likely to have a beer with Obama.

Right now today? It's Obama, no question. But that's mostly because Bush has been out of public life for 7 years and no one really gives a shit about him anymore. I also think that over time he's become viewed as an idiot who was being manipulated by Cheney and Rumsfeld behind the scenes and so people are less vitriolic about him overall as well.

I will say this:

If Bush is hated the most because of the Iraq war, and Obama somewhat gets a pass because US is not currently in full-out war, but only in "airstrikes war"....that is hysterically huge amount of *beep* Obama is still having American soldiers kill people....except in a way that is totally ineffective and the warring side is still gaining ground.

Basically Bush made big decisions (right or wrong) and got slammed for making the wrong decisions in a scenario where there are few good options...while Obama is going to get a pass because he is sneaking out of office and leaving the big decisions to his successor.

You are asking (correct me if I'm wrong) which Prez was more disliked at this point in their term. The answer is Bush by a wide margin.

If you are asking, as Shag stated, who is disliked more right now, I'd still say Bush, who is particularly disliked in Republican circles for obvious reasons.
