Why is Islam the worst of religions?

1 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-22 19:18
Because people say Islam is the religion of peace...

It isn't. They're all as bad as each other. Except Hinduism.

I prefer Taoism and Confucianism

British weather has been declared Muslim . . .
It’s partly Sunni, but mostly Shi’ite.

It would be very strange for every religion to be as bad.

Something like:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Quakers#Women_and_equality
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Quakers#Slavery_Abolition

Or Jainism:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jainism

It is transtheistic and prescribes a path of nonviolence (ahimsa) towards all living beings. Practitioners believe nonviolence and self-control are the means to liberation. The three main principles of Jainism are nonviolence, non-absolutism (anekantavada) and non-possessiveness (aparigraha). Followers of Jainism take 5 major vows: nonviolence, not lying, not stealing (asteya), chastity, and non-attachment. Asceticism is thus a major focus of Jainism.

Sound better than Mormon Blood atonement tradition:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_atonement

Or what Muhammad did preach:

I was all with it 'till they mentioned chastity.

Yes, and even without the specifics, it's a priori unlikely - "very strange", as you put it - to expect all religions to be equally bad. It would be like expecting all people to be equally tall, or all drinks to be equally alcoholic.

I could someone stating that it is subjective or hard to determine a ranking (or even a position that it is impossible to do so), but stating as a fact that they know them to be all as bad sound like something someone repeat without thinking it through.

Some religion are better suited in certain scenario (some religion is really good if you are in perpetual war for example) but are not the best outside the place/time/situation they did become popular.

All religioun is bad bro.
14 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-23 12:13
Christianity has an equally violent past.
15 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-23 14:05
The Christians have gotten more tolerable over the years. The Muslims have not.
16 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-23 16:45
Christianity is about 600 years older than Islam. Islam hasn't had its enlightenment. It's easy to condemn the entire religion for the actions of the most extreme elements, but keep in mind that there are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. It is a huge mistake to disparage an entire people for the actions of a few.
17 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-23 19:13
I never claimed all of them were bad, but the amount of 'bad' Muslims is higher than the amount of 'bad' Christians.

>>16
That seems like a childish way of looking at things to me.
19 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-23 23:00
Good thing I don't care how you see things. I understand what's going on in the world, and there are no Christian groups that behead people, set them on fire and invade and persecute entire countries.

You're right. There are about 10,000 Muslims doing that. 10,000 out of 1.5 billion. That's about 0.000006%. But you understand what's going on in the world so I'm reassured.
21 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 03:33
And yet I was right. Remind me of which Christian terrorist extremist groups are doing these things too?
22 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 06:40
Apart from the occasional pipe bomb at a planned parenthood and daily death threats to doctors who perform abortions, no extremist Christian groups do that (anymore). But the "They have more bad guys!" argument remains childish. It doesn't reflect the whole religion.
23 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 08:11
But it does show that their religion more easily breeds extremism and violence.
24 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 08:47
No. It shows their religion is younger and hasn't had the chance to reform itself yet.
25 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 10:11
That's a pathetic excuse. Your social justice warrior persona of trying to cast away all blame and responsibility from them is genuinely frustrating and reprehensible. Poor Muslims, they're such victims with all the horror and suffering they inflict on not only others, but also themselves. Go live over in Iraq if you think it's so fücking fine over there. I'm done discussing this, because I can't stand ignorant SJWs like you.
26 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 11:08
And I can't stand not-so-veiled bigotry from bigots like you. So have a nice night.
27 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 11:37
It's day here, you arrogant wanker.
28 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 11:58
Assalaamu alaikum.
29 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 12:18
That's funny because there are actually quite a few Christian terrorist organizations around the world. In the western world there have been more Christian terrorist attacks than Muslim ones. And it's not even close:

Jews are not Christians.
31 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 12:59
there really are not bad religions. There are bad people in some religions
32 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 13:19
Its religion. Its all terrible.

They don't watch enough good movies, thus can't release the tension and anger. They need to watch more good movies.
34 Name: BlueMilk : 2015-08-24 13:50
I don't think this is a topic of discussion where we're going to find much common ground. We have our own outlook and perceptions about different religions and acknowledging that basic truth is usually as far as we get. So I would just leave it at that.
35 Name: Anonymous : 2015-08-24 14:22
Statistically speaking Christianity is the most violent religion in the world, even today.

Who said it was? I see no problem with it. It's like any other religion to me. I just ignore them all.

No it isn't.
