Am I look Jewish? People keep telling me over and over again, like when I was still in middle school and this black kid asked me if I carried a drawstring bag filled with Gold around my neck (hence the term "Jew Gold"). Another time (recently) was when these rednecks asked me if I was Jewish and it was shocking why they thought I was Jewish, and it was the same reason as last time when a kid thought I was Jewish. It was because of my dark thick hair and blue eyes. I know on my father's side of the family my grandmother Marlene who looks just like an Ashkenazi woman. She's old, got a head full of grey hair, and has a sharp northern Connecticut accent despite my Southern upbringing. I also suffer from Schizophreniform Disorder (I was officially diagnosed with this) which from what I've heard, Ashkenazi Jews have a higher predisposition to mental illness. I am lazy and have a big head, long neck and big nose (from what I've been told).

No Jew will mistake you as Jewish, your jaw is too defined and your forehead is wrong. However, due to the curly dark hair, general hairiness, and yes, the blue eyes / dark hair combo, you have **some** features of an eastern european ashkenazi jew. Like I said, you will never pass in a synagogue, but I could see how people who don't interact with Jews frequently could make the mistake.
