Serviceman of 15 years in the US army. Countless deployments. Head of many groups in my community as well as support programs for veterans and military families.

I want the US to be successfully invaded so I'll have nothing else to put my mind towards other than fighting as an insurgent in my own country.

My family, pets, friends, livelihood, car, house, mortgage and whatever the hell else I've gained in this shitty excuse for a modern day society can all burn.

I now only wish to fight in a war that lasts beyond my natural date of death of age.

My reasoning is that I think our society is too advanced to stay collapsed for very long. Obviously, I think people would cling to fairy tales in that nightmare scenario, but I also think the worst possible thing that could happen short of the extermination of the entire species is food being scarce for a year or two. The government being overthrown I don't think would pose a serious problem. Neither would an economic collapse.

I would also add that if the US economy collapses then the rest of you are completely fucked, because we'll be having all your resources and there isn't a lot you can do about it.
